So now that we’ve talked about that let’s go ahead and get right into ClickBank. If you don’t know, ClickBank. And affiliate marketplace.

[00:02:19] It’s a place that affiliates like you and me can go to to find different products to promote. If you’re not familiar with affiliate marketing is simply recommending other people’s products and services based on a need or a perceived need. So whenever I’m talking to people about affiliate marketing, I tell them if you’ve ever gone on the internet and typed in the best something for something.

[00:02:39] There’s usually an internet marketer or an affiliate marketer behind the scenes creating content to help you solve that problem. For example, best vacuum cleaners for pets that’s affiliate marketing and action. Best web hosting provider for WordPress. Again, that’s probably an affiliate marketer in action.

[00:02:55] Now that we’ve talked about that, ClickBank is a marketplace that you can go to to find several different products and services to promote. There are a variety of niches. Suppose you look on the left-hand side, Where it says categories. Those are niches, and categories are the same word. They’re just. They just use category over on ClickBank.

[00:03:10] As you can see, there are a ton of different categories that you can choose from. Most often, people will tell you to stick with health, wealth, relationships, and technology. The other niches or categories can work. You just have to. It’s been a little bit smarter to navigate some of those other markets or niches.

[00:03:27] So, let’s get into figuring out. Hello. Hello. Thanks for commenting. I don’t want to mispronounce your name. Where are you? Where are you listening or viewing from? If you don’t mind me asking. So now that we have talked a little bit about the foundation of ClickBank, let’s go ahead and figure out some high-quality products to promote.

[00:03:47] Now, personally, what I’m looking for as an affiliate, I want a vendor, someone that has created the product for us to promote. I want a vendor that will basically do a lot of that: hard, heavy work, heavy lifting for us. So if the vendor can come up with keywords, I want someone like that.

[00:04:03] If they can come up with banners, I want someone like that. If they want, if they tell me the best traffic sources, you’re in Turkey. Wow. What time is it in Turkey? And if they can come up with traffic sources and landing pages, the more they can give me or the affiliate, the better it will be for you.

[00:04:20] The easier it will make our life. If they can tell me the demographic, for example, with the custom keto diet that I talked about a few days ago, they tell us that the target market is 80% women. It’s usually between 35 and 65. And. Their customers are usually in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom.

[00:04:38] If they can provide that type of information, they can help us be successful because it takes away a lot of the guesswork. For example, suppose you’re creating content on YouTube that you want to feature women between 35 and 60. You want to target English-speaking countries because that can help you.

[00:04:53] So without further ado, wow. Good morning over there. Very early it’s I’m in, I’m on Chicago time, so it’s seven o’clock here. I’m actually in Wisconsin, but most people identify with Chicago. So let’s go ahead and figure out some good products to promote using the foundation that I just alluded to a few minutes ago.

[00:05:13] So, most people will tell you to click the search button here. When you click the search, it’s going to return several popular affiliate products or products that people have been promoting, which you can do. And what I recommend that you do is you sort by gravity. That’s what everybody is going to tell you to do.

[00:05:31] Just sort by gravity. Gravity basically means that people are having success promoting this product. Some customers are out there buying this product or service. So you start by gravity, and ideally, you want a gravity that’s at about 50 or. This at the very top year of research that Godzilla offers. The gravity is 8 0 4.

[00:05:51] People are having outstanding success promoting this product lip attacks as well—custom keto diet. What I urge you to do is first pick a niche. So for me, I want to get into a home and garden. I’m getting I’m into home and garden and. If I look at the very top, Ted’s woodworking is at two 30, so it’s perfect, has a very high gravity score.

[00:06:17] After that brain training for dogs, it’s 180 7. Again, a very high gravity score shed 1 26. These are all high-quality products that you can promote once you identify them. Products of very high quality are getting commissions that people are having success buying and selling. What you want to do is you want to take a look at the affiliate page.

[00:06:38] So what I’m going to do is I’m going to bring up the affiliate page for Ted’s woodworking. I’ve actually promoted this product in the past. I think brain training for dogs wants me to enter their email address. So let’s take a look at the shed plans as well. Let’s also take a look at the doggy Dan’s online dog trainer.

[00:06:53] And let’s look at one more ultimate small shop, the next woodworking blockbuster. So I’m going to open all of these up, and I’ve opened them up in different tabs. So we can just quickly take a look and see if they’re good enough. But, again, the thing that we’re looking for is we want vendors that have created a, maybe a list of keywords.

[00:07:12] If we’re doing. Pay-per-click so let’s say we’re doing a search or display ads we’re doing pay-per-click. We want to make sure that we’re targeting the right keywords, and a vendor will know that better than anyone else. So I want to see if they have banners. Maybe if we’re running a blog post or a blogging website about woodworking, we can just use some of the images they’ve created for us.

[00:07:35] We can just paste them right in again. It makes our life a little bit easier. Suppose they can come out with a target market for us, demographics. That can help us with images. So we could go to a website like Unsplash and look for people in that target market. And that could help. Make a connection with our target audience because we need to mand a way to induct ourselves at the end of the day.

[00:07:56] We need to find a way to connect with the target audience to start making money on the mind because people only buy from people they know and trust. And quite honestly, we know and trust people that look like us. So if we can figure out a way to create content that resonates with our target audience, we can make money easier than having to.

[00:08:16]Figure it out on her own. The first one we’re going to take a look at is Ted’s woodworking. I believe at the very bottom. You have to enter your email address. What I can do is I’ve already checked out. I’ve already entered my email address. I’m just going to go straight to the resource page now because I promoted this product before. I know that it’s a good product because it has a custom landing page.

[00:08:36] Now Facebook is very finicky. For affiliate marketers, you could have one wrong word, one wrong sentence, and they will essentially ban you. You. You’ll have to. Beg and plead to get your account back. One of the great things about this Ted woodworking vendor is that they have created a compliant Facebook landing page.

[00:08:55] So that’s one less thing that you have to worry about. So what I’d always do is double-check and make sure that there aren’t any issues. This Facebook or this landing page should be compliant with the rules and regulations of Facebook. They have custom graphics and banners that we could put right in our blog if we scroll down.

[00:09:13]You could make this. You can put it over on the side. If you have headers or footers, you can put them there as well. But to me, this is checking a few boxes already, and we just basically, what we need to do is go in here. We copy this. We copied it. HTML. Obviously, we replaced the triple Xs with our affiliate ID, and then we just paste it right in wherever we want to go.

[00:09:36] If we’re putting this on a blog, now let’s say we’re creating a YouTube video or we’re doing something else we can just simply right. Click this, save him and jazz, and go from there. But to me, this is checking off a few of the boxes already. If we scroll down a little bit further, And it has again more graphics for us to use, this one is animated, so that can help catch people’s eye as well.

[00:09:56] So that’s very good. What I’m looking for. And what I really like about this product is it has PPC keywords. Now, this is very handy, whether regardless if you’re using free or paid traffic. A few days ago, I talked about a little hack that you could do if you don’t know what type of content to create.

[00:10:14] So, let’s say I’m brand new to woodworking. I have no idea. Woodworking plans and this, that, or the other, what I can do is I can simply copy in woodworking ventures. I’ll copy this. And then I can go over to a website called to answer the public. So I’m going to go to answer the public.com and basically with answer the public.

[00:10:34] It is a website that collects search searches from different from Google. Yahoo, Bing duct go. And so basically, what you’ll do is once you enter in a keyword or keyword phrase, it’ll return all of the different results based on your keyword or keyword phrase. And again, I have no idea. I know nothing about woodworking, but what I can do is I can utilize these PPC keywords to figure out what questions people are asking.

[00:11:01] So I’ve copied over woodworking benches, and I’m going to jump over to answer the public. And I’m simply going to say what people are asking. So I’m going to paste that in, as you see that I’ve done, and I’m going to click search. And when I click search, it works. And then eventually we’ll have some results.

[00:11:17]Maybe not. The only drawback I would say to answer the public is it only allows two free searches per day, two or three. And then. If you do not use a VPN, you can pay. I think it’s $99 a month to do the premium unlimited searches. I’ve never needed to do that. But this can help even getting started.

[00:11:39] So it only returned four questions about where to buy woodworking bench Sims. Why do woodworking benches have holes and so on? So you can actually essentially start creating content based on this information. And it’s all information essentially that Ted’s woodworking. The vendor has given us woodworking benches for sale in Australia.

[00:11:58] And so on. If we scroll all the way down, it has basically an alphabetical list of different. Questions, comments, or searches. People are creating based on a woodworking bench. And you could go through and do this over and over again. And this could help you create content. And if you’re running paid ads, this could help you with long-tail keywords.

[00:12:17] Now, long-tail keywords are basically less certain keywords. People are often searching for woodworking benches, but they may not be searching for woodworking benches. Like why do woodworking benches have holes? If you’re creating that type of content, you can get very. PPC ads, and you can target buyers that other larger agencies aren’t looking for.

[00:12:39] So, this is another good thing about using a vendor that has the PPC keywords. If we scroll down, it has demographics. So again, this is going to help us out tremendously and a few different ways. Regardless of years and paid or free methods, it tells us that the target market is 30 to 65: top four countries, United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia, and the interest.

[00:13:01] If you’re running paid ads, you can learn a lot. You can learn a lot about the interest, and you can target these interests and potentially start making sales. And then, it also has more information than the Facebook guide. Another great thing with this woodworking. As they have email swipes. You can do you can just simply copy and paste these emails. Email swipes right into your honor responder.

[00:13:23] And when you add people to your mailing list, it’ll follow up with engaging, thought-provoking clickable emails. Now, this is awesome because, as I’ve said repeatedly, most people don’t buy right. But they may buy after reading this email. There’ll be, though, they’re reminded about Ted’s woodworking and how they can get $79 in savings for the next 72 hours only.

[00:13:47] So they have three email swipes. People have spent a lot of time, money, and energy creating the engaging copy. So if you can find a vendor that has done this for you, you want to grab it. And run with it. Also, this vendor has review videos. You can actually paste that right into a landing page.

[00:14:04] You can paste that into your website. You can actually create a YouTube channel with a few of these as well. But to me, in my mind, this is a perfect vendor because it takes a lot of the guesswork out. You just have to go out and create content and get in front of relevant. Traffic and they even tell you what type of traffic in front of, if you were using, let’s say you’re going through Facebook groups.

[00:14:24] If we scroll up here, you could jump into a DIY Facebook group and talk about woodworking. You could get into a home and garden, a Facebook group, or a survival. For any of these Facebook groups, you could jump in and start getting free traffic to your Ted’s woodworking affiliate offer. And this is something that you can do over and over again, rinse, repeat and make money.

[00:14:44]As often as you really want. So I like Ted’s woodworking because of basically everything that I mentioned. Let’s take a look at this other one here. This is brain training for dogs. This one follows a very similar model. They have, let me see here. I believe they want you to. So there are banners, free giveaways, things that you can entice people to get on their mailing list, get their secure email address, email swipes, again, promotional videos, and keyword ideas.

[00:15:11] You can even download this list. So again, this is a pretty good one. This is not as great as Ted’s woodworking, but it’s still good because it has the keyword ideas. It doesn’t necessarily offer to target. I would want to make my life a little easier, but this is still a pretty good one because it has banners, graphics, or images that show up on a website.

[00:15:33]It does provide a few free giveaways, so you can easy, more easily secure email addresses. Promotional videos, you can actually paste this right onto your website or put these promotional videos on your YouTube channel or website, and then keyword idea. So this one probably gets, I would say, maybe a beat of Ted where Ted’s woodworking gets an a or a minus.

[00:15:54] I would say this one gets maybe a, B, or B minus after that we have the shed plans or just scroll down here and let me see. I think you need to also. Here we go. Nothing I don’t want. This one is actually set up very similar to touch woodworking. So I wouldn’t be surprised if it, in fact, emulates it a lot.

[00:16:13] And as you can see here, it does it emulates it basically a step for step. I believe that these two companies are owned by the same, or the same company owns these two vendors or products. And again, this is another good example of a ClickBank product that you could have success promoting because they have taken all of the guesswork out.

[00:16:38]It is tough if you’re brand new to affiliate marketing. It’s very difficult for affiliate marketing, regardless of whether you’re new or experienced, to just go in and blindly promote a product. If there isn’t any assistance and you don’t know anything about the price. So if we jump over this next one, I’m going to skip this one because I don’t want to enter my email address.

[00:16:58] This one is, I believe, the next here we go—the newest woodworking blockbuster. Let’s see how this one compares to Ted’s woodworking. If we scroll down, here talks about refund rates, which is good. Upsells down sells how you can make money. Why promote if we scroll down and get started, get click here to access your affiliate.

[00:17:18] And as you can see, they have done a lot of the same thing. They have. They had the keywords, which is going to help us out a little bit. This actually has long-tail keywords already. Is offering something that TEDS isn’t offering. It has images and banners. If we scroll down, oops, images and banners that we can swipe again, what this one though, you actually have to, with some of these, you have actually to write.

[00:17:41] Click and save them. You can just get a copy of the HTML and put it right into your web page for some of these. Let’s see images and banners. Again, we looked at pre-sell articles. If you’re running like an advertorial, this is very nice, very easy, because you can just copy this in and add in sprinkle and links to your woodworking.

[00:18:01] Yeah. I’ve shown you how to do that in a few different videos on how to make money. That way, email swipes will, which we talked about videos, free guide giveaways, customer demographics, and Facebook images. These are all things that are going to help you make money. So this one free.com secrets book.

[00:18:17] This actually is an affiliate link. So this one’s probably. I’m going to give this one a minus, just because I don’t have as much experience with this one as I do with it. What Ted’s woodworking, let’s find one that’s bad. Let’s find an example of one that, that I would not promote. I’m going to scroll down, and let’s look at my boat plans.

[00:18:37] Let’s see what they’re offering. So I clicked on the link here, and let’s see, what do we have? Okay. So this one has banners, PPC targets. These are all going to be. High quality once here. So I’m just going to go to a like a third or fourth-page one here to see if we can find a poor example.

[00:19:00] So I went to page five and high cholesterol. Let’s see what we got here when I click on this affiliate page. The other thing too, you want to consider when you’re promoting a product, the amount of money that you can earn for your commission. I don’t recommend that you promote anything. That’s going to pay less than $50, just because you’re putting in a lot of time, energy, and effort.

[00:19:24] And quite frankly, you can make the same. You can make more money with the same amount of traffic and the same amount of effort you’re creating one YouTube video or one blog post. You may as well. Put in a high ticket affiliate offer or a higher ticket affiliate offer. When I first got started with affiliate marketing, I was promoting Amazon, promoting one of the blue snowball microphones.

[00:19:46] And the commission was like a dollar, and now it’s even less. And so it wasn’t really worth my time to put in a 20 minute YouTube video or even write 20 an hour and a half blog posts and get paid a dollar. So I recommend that you look for the high ticket, high converting offers, and it’ll tell you what the earnings per click are.

[00:20:06] That’ll give you an indication of where that is. So it wants me to enter in my ClickBank ID. I’ll do that real quick. Click submit. And here are some offers that we could take advantage of. It has some banner ads, good keywords, and perfect images that we can swipe. So this one’s okay.

[00:20:26] It’s still missing some stuff. Like it doesn’t have a landing page that we could potentially take. It doesn’t have videos. It doesn’t have an article. Those are all things that I would necessarily look for to consider. A high a high-quality product. So it’s okay. This one’s probably like a C or C minus.

[00:20:48] If we scroll down, I’m going to go to page seven. Let’s see if we can find one. Let’s see. Easy power plant. This one should be good. So I clicked an easy power plan—the affiliate page. If you guys have questions, definitely throw them out there. Cause I want to make sure that I’m solving your problems and not just.

[00:21:06] Telling you what I think you should know. I want you guys to tell me what you want to know to serve you better. So if we scroll down here, it has one email swipe. You can import to a Weber, and that’s it. Get your affiliate link. So this one I would rate fairly low because it just gives us information about collecting emails, swipes.

[00:21:32] It doesn’t give us anything about PPC. So you would have to email them for that. So that’s going to take longer if you’re trying to get started right away. Trying to get started today, you will have to email them and wait for a response. It’s Friday. And so we have to wait until at least Monday to get a response.

[00:21:45] Usually, it doesn’t have any banners, really banner images for us to swipe. This is going to be like a D for me. I wouldn’t promote this product at all. But, again, the things that I want, email swipes, I want images. I want PPC or keywords long-tail keywords, ShoreTel keywords. I want a video. I want articles.

[00:22:04] I want them to do all the work so I can go out there and get the traffic for them. Okay. [00:22:26] How I started generating. Leads and commissions start generating passive income. I actually wake up at 4:00 AM every morning, just to see if I’ve made any money. In fact, I have this terrible tendency now to wake up every few hours to see if I’ve made any money, just because it’s exciting to make money while you sleep.

[00:22:45] But I want you guys to take action regardless if you’re. Going to try and venture out and do ClickBank on your own. If you’re going to go through the free training, you need to take action today. You need to take action right now, after this video, after the conclusion of this video, you got to go out and do something because next week, a week from now, you’re still going to be trying to figure out how to make money online.

[00:23:06] The best way to start affiliate marketing is to jump in and do something you want to fail fast so that you learn. I made the mistake years ago, watching video after video. Trying to find that magic bullet, that magic that, that magic answer doesn’t come. Instead, what comes is more frustration because people aren’t telling you exactly what to do.

[00:23:29] People are telling you what to do, and you just have to go out and execute. You’ve got to go through your own successes and failures to figure out exactly what works best for you. What works best for me? Maybe doing something like Tik TOK doesn’t work best for you. Maybe you work better with YouTube.

[00:23:43] Maybe you work better with blog posts or Facebook groups or whatever it is, but it’s imperative for you. And this is when I start to rant a little bit. You guys must take action. Don’t watch another five videos. Don’t start on it tomorrow. Start on it right now, do something right now.

[00:24:02] You start that building block of success. You start planting that seed, and then you can come back tomorrow, and you can work a little bit more off of what you’ve already started. So that way, tomorrow, you’re not working off of zero. You’re working at one. So I want you guys. I urge you guys. I plead with you guys to take some sort of action to get started in building your business.

[00:24:22] Don’t wait. Don’t wait for the perfect time. I don’t think I’ll do it tomorrow. Start tomorrow because tomorrow never comes. Unfortunately for many of us, tomorrow just never comes, and we wind up regretting that starting yesterday. So do something today, whether it creates a free ClickBank account if you don’t already have one, whether it’s watching that free training that I talked about@alstongodbold.com slash start, or whether it’s doing the keyword research if you haven’t done it already, go over to answer the public.

[00:24:49] Type in a few keywords, learn how that works. And then you want to copy those keywords and match them up to what’s reported or what’s returning on Google.
