How to Use ClickFunnels for Clients

ClickFunnels is an online service that entrepreneurs can use to build websites. You can use the ClickFunnels platform to create landing pages and integrate the different aspects of a sales funnel into a website.

A sales funnel a system that captures leads online and converts these leads to sales. Let us say, for example, you are trying to sell an e-book that will show customers The 10 Secrets to Long and Healthy Hair For Any Hair Type.

The book cannot sell itself. So, the goal is to set up a website in such a way that it appeals to potential customers. You introduce a hook, which offers the customer a freebie. Then, you follow through on your hook, and you lead the customer step-by-step to the product you want to sell to them, your end goal.

Your landing page will be the location where you reel in the interest of potential customers. Include a message on this page with an actionable request that will allow the consumer to opt-in. Your initial message keeps the potential customer’s attention, and once this step is complete, you keep their interest with the page that follows.

Another way to capture a customer’s attention on a landing page is to embed a quiz that finds out about the customer’s needs and ends with a customer’s email request. The quiz will increase interaction between the potential customer and the benefits the product may offer them upon purchase. Hence the customer will begin to relate with the product.

Types of Subscriptions

ClickFunnels has two different types of subscriptions:

  1. ClickFunnels
  2. Etison Suite

ClickFunnels

This subscription is $97.00 a month and offers 20 funnels, 100 landing pages, email integration, A/B split tests, and 20,000 landing page traffic. This plan is great for an individual business, but it can be limited to creating funnels and landing pages for a variety of business clients.

Etison Suite

The Etison Suite has unlimited funnels, unlimited landing pages, and it supports unlimited landing page traffic, along with the email integration and the A/B split tests. So, if you have numerous different clients and want to house all of their pages on your account, then the Etison Suite subscription is the way to go.

This subscription costs $297.00 a month. But it is a reasonable input cost for an online business and can be considered an expenditure logged in your liabilities on your balance sheet.

Another reason why the Etison Suite might be best for a company working for other business clients is that you may make different sales funnels and landing pages for a single client. Once a relationship is established with a client, it can be a long-term relationship, and other sales will require specially catered landing pages for them.

Features of ClickFunnels for Clients

Once you’ve started a ClickFunnels account and chosen the subscription that best suits your needs, you’re ready to expand your reach and generate new leads. Expanding your client base is almost effortless with these ClickFunnels features.

Sales and Marketing Funnels

The main and most important feature of ClickFunnels is that it can be used to create sales and marketing funnels without first having to understand how to code. Clients want to be able to get their sales process set up as quickly and conveniently as possible.

To add to this, most clients want to understand and manage the funnel, and the traffic the funnel attracts after it has been created on their behalf.

ClickFunnels makes this a straightforward process for both the one who forms the funnel and the main user of the funnel. Your client does not need to possess a ClickFunnels account themselves, either. Their landing pages can be integrated into their website but hosted by your ClickFunnels account without any conflict.

Built-in Templates

It may not be easy to bring variety and effectiveness to each landing page or website designed for different clients. This is especially true for numerous clients and the specific details of their businesses. But, if you are using ClickFunnels for clients, their pre-built templates are an ideal tool to have in your arsenal.

It is a basic process to get things set up: first, pick the right template for the client that you are dealing with, the features of their business, and what sort of product they are selling. Then, fill in the necessary information for that client. Lastly, launch the page. As easy as three steps.

From these pre-built templates, you can get quickly launched landing pages set up so that clients can start receiving leads right away. The icing on the cake is that these templates have been proven to work by ClickFunnels.

Email Marketing (Autoresponder)

ClickFunnels can integrate with the email autoresponder system that you use. So, suppose, for example, you employ the use of MailChimp for your email lists. In that case, ClickFunnels allows you to link your email directories with your email sign-up funnels so that your email list is automatically updated once a new person signs up on your opt-in page.

Besides this, ClickFunnels itself is capable of managing email responses and emails that are sent out. So, if you do not have an autoresponder platform already set up, you can keep things simple and use ClickFunnels’.

Analytics

Analytics are important because they give us a good idea of what is working with the audience we are trying to reach and what needs to be changed. But more so, they show us the demographic situation of the audience we have been able to reach and help us plan a sales strategy around this data.

This is why ClickFunnels’ analytical features are very important in dealing with clients. The analytics will allow you and your clients to get the most out of the pages you have set up. Some of the analytics found there are traffic, email performance, conversions, sales, user activity, and many more.

Share Funnels

This feature is exclusive to ClickFunnels, and basically, it allows you to duplicate entire funnels from one person’s account into your own and vice versa. With a client, the application of this comes quite in handy, if say, you want to create a funnel and then hand over access of it to a client.

You can create and test out a sales funnel on your account for a client. When you have tested and refined the funnel, you can share it with a client to get full access to the funnel and run it from there on out in their account.

An added benefit of this is you still have the original funnel you created and can repurpose it however you want to, even after sharing it with the client. Suppose you initially cannot afford the Etison Suite subscription. In that case, you can utilize this feature to stretch out your ClickFunnels Subscription while you balance a few accounts in the interim until you can switch over to the Etison Suite subscription.

Setting Up Funnels for Clients

ClickFunnels will help guide you through the proper communication channels when you’re ready to start connecting with clients. Whether it’s selling your products or creating a follow-up funnel, the easy drag and drop feature on the user-friendly dashboard can simplify the process, so you have time to focus on other aspects of your business.

Find Out the Client’s Needs

Start by finding the needs of the specific sales of your client. Do they need one sale funnel to market and increase engagement for a single product? Or do they want to set up some different sales funnels for a marketing campaign with different aspects?

Landing pages have some differences to whole websites: they are meant to generate more leads and conversions than a regular website, so they are an awesome tool for online sales. So a prospect may need a landing page.

Is the client a start-up business looking to grow their reach and make some long term customers by building a mailing list? Or is the client a business you have worked with before that is online-based and needs to get a certain amount of traffic to their website to get qualified sales each quarter?

Getting these details about a client will help you determine the sort of products and services you may offer and how ClickFunnels will play a role in developing those product offerings.

In addition to understanding the products that the client is interested in getting, you also have to understand the level of control the client would like to have on the final product.

Sales funnels will need to be tested to ensure that they best suit the target audience’s sales goals. As such, it is important to understand if you will need to test out the sales funnel after giving a client access to it. What degree of control will you need to maintain to get those analytics done smoothly and implemented without obstacles?

After understanding these features of the product that the client is looking for, you can proceed to use the platform.

Use Built-in Templates

You can now use the built-in templates offered by ClickFunnels to create the landing page that best fits the client’s needs that you have taken the time to find out. Certain aesthetics will convey a message better than others.

A funnel is composed of several pages, not just the landing page. You need to plan out the steps of the funnel and the different pages. Map them out before proceeding to use the templates in ClickFunnels to create each page.

Build A Landing Page

Start by building the landing page.

Create a new funnel by first logging into your ClickFunnels account and clicking “Add a new Funnel” on the main page. You will see the button below the Classic Funnel Builder option on the page.

Customize the Landing Page

Select the “Edit Page” button to open the page editor. Within the page editor, you can customize the landing page to suit your personal needs.

After you form the landing page, you have to build up the rest of the funnel page-by-page. You can set up your subsequent pages within the same template you have already chosen. To add on subsequent pages, follow the steps below.

Features of a Good Landing Page

Nailing the landing page is essential for… landing clients, of course. To draw in clients and keep them engaged, keep the characteristics of a good landing page in mind.

An Engaging Headline

Your headline should be precise and correctly convey the objective of the page. It should be placed strategically to draw the attention of your prospects. It should also create an impact on the prospect, lead them to want to know more.

An Attention Grabber

A dynamic picture or video can draw a person’s attention further and cause them to stay on the page longer. You do not want to go overboard with this. If you choose a video, keep it short and let it be quick moving and attention-grabbing. This could enhance the effectiveness of your visual content and should be chosen and designed with consideration.

You can get creative with this attention-grabber, however. As mentioned earlier, you can introduce a quiz on your landing page but do not take the quiz results directly on your landing page.

A Call to Action

Prompt the prospective client to take action. Without a call to action, the visitor might hang out on your landing page for a few minutes and then leave without doing anything. The call to action does not need to be your sales pitch, flat out necessarily. It could be as simple as asking for the prospect’s email address.

If you go with the quiz idea, you can ask for the prospect’s email address to send the quiz results to them via email. Then, even if the potential customer does not follow up on the product after the freebie is given, they can be put in the email list and followed.

Offer a Freebie

Offering a freebie in exchange for your call to action is a great way to convince further the prospect to follow your funnel’s steps to the end. If what you seek initially on the landing page is the prospect’s email address, you can ask the prospect to enter their email address in return for receiving the freebie in their email.

Social Proof

Social proof leads conversion on a landing page. By social proof here, we refer to the popularity of the name associated with the landing page in social media. It is a good way to earn the trust of prospects and establish a good name for the product you are building a following for through your sales funnel.

You can embed a social media page unto the landing page that includes the testimonials of past customers as social media proof of the product’s effectiveness.
